For our adult lesson, a student kindly taught me Ikebana.  (Japanese flower arrangement) 

I have never done this before.  It was interesting to learn some of the basic techniques for how to arrange the flowers.  I recommend having an experienced person do this with you if you have never tried before. 

It was a cool cultural experience.
